Ministry of Defense: cadets of Ukrainian military universities will be taught by specialists from the USA – News

The cadets at the military universities of Ukraine will be taught by specialists from the USA, the Ministry of Defense reports.

Also, as part of the pilot project, one of the Ukrainian training centers will implement assessment tools that are used in the US Army.

The testing will identify potential leaders who will later be able to become sergeants, the MOU adds.

The innovations were discussed during a meeting with representatives of the American company Sonata, which provides military assistance and expertise to Ukraine.

According to Deputy Minister of Defense Natalia Kalmykova, Ukraine needs to train sergeants and officers according to American standards right now.

“At the same time, it is very important to change the military culture. After all, the future of the Ukrainian army depends on it. I am very grateful to our American friends for their willingness to interact, share their experience and knowledge.

I am convinced that large-scale training in Ukraine with the help of US specialists will solve many pressing problems in the Ukrainian army.” – adds the official.

It will be recalled that earlier in 10 Ukrainian universities a new anti-corruption discipline was introduced.
