Residents of the capital were alarmed by the systematic felling of trees in the city, some users also began to suspect the institution’s management and the municipal association Kyivzelenbud of wasting public funds. According to him, about nine thousand trees grow on the territory of almost 15 hectares of the park. Of them, 245 trees are dry. Currently, the stumps are being lowered, later they will be uprooted and covered with black earth. “They need to be demolished, this must be done, because many people walk in the park every day, it is dangerous, even though they are not in an emergency state,” said Oleksandr Tkachenko. He added that new trees have already started to be planted on the territory. “Currently, we are lowering the stumps, then they will be uprooted and covered with black earth.
