The Ministry of Education and Science plans that all educational institutions west of Kyiv should switch to offline education by September.

This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Mykhailo Vynnytskyi, on the air of the telethon.

“We are now moving in such a way that educational institutions west of Kyiv will go offline by September, definitely all of them.” – he said on the air of the telethon.

According to him, in many cases, going to permanent training will involve, in particular, switching to several shifts or evening training.

As Vynnytskyi noted, it is currently impossible to implement such changes in the front-line regions, in particular in Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya, Odesa, Mykolaiv, as the security situation there is difficult due to Russian shelling.

“There is a problem that we have to deal with, because it is difficult to form the world view of children online. However, the dream of offline for these regions is still unattainable.” he says.

It will be recalled that the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) stated that children in the frontline regions spent up to 5 thousand hours in shelters in two years.
