People’s Artist of Ukraine Vitaliy Bilonozho died

People’s Artist of Ukraine, founder and organizer of the International Festival of Family Creativity “Melody of Two Hearts” and Ukrainian pop superstar Vitaly Bilonozho died at the age of 71.

This was reported by the Buryn City Council in Sumy Oblast, where the artist is from.

The entire Buryn community is deeply saddened by the death of People’s Artist of Ukraine, Ukrainian singer, founder and organizer of the International Festival of Family Creativity “Melody of Two Hearts” Vitaly Bilonozhok. Back in the summer, we congratulated Vitaly Vasyliovych on his glorious anniversary, reminisced together about his free childhood, wished him good luck, invited him to visit the Buryn region, and rejoiced at his countrymen’s greetings“, the message says.

About Vitaly Bilonozhka

Vitaly Bilonozko was born on June 11, 1953 in the village of Sloboda, Buryn District, Sumy Oblast.

The first songs of Whitefoot were recorded on the radio by Maksym Dunaevsky’s works “Vse prodyet” and “City Flowers”. Subsequently, he began to perform songs by Oleksandr Zlotnyk and Oleksandr Osadchy.

Since 1995, he started performing together with his wife Svitlana, a former operetta soloist and ex-announcer of UT-1. In the same year, he received the title of People’s Artist of Ukraine.

In total, he released six CDs in Ukraine, the USA and Canada, an anthology of his own work and 12 audio cassettes.

In 1999, together with Svitlana Bilonozho, he became the founder of the regular International Festival of Family Creativity “Melody of Two Hearts”, one of the most popular in the country.

Bilonozhko is a laureate of many all-Ukrainian and international song festivals and competitions. And also a knight of the orders of Yaroslav the Wise V degree, “For Merit” III degree, “For Merit” II degree.
