Personnel changes in the MES: new deputy ministers were appointed

The Cabinet of Ministers appointed Yevhen Kudryavets as the first deputy minister of education and science of Ukraine. Since April, he has held the position of Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education and Culture for European Integration, the ministry reports. In his new position, Yevhen Kudryavets will deal, in particular, with issues of European integration and diplomacy, the department writes. “He will administer the work of the future Reform Implementation Office, coordinate interaction with the public sector and donor organizations, as well as strategic planning,” the ministry said. Photo: MES According to MES, Yevhen Kudryavets is a doctor of philosophy majoring in “Economics” and a master’s degree in international law. In April of this year, he was appointed to the post of Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine for European integration. Previously, he worked as the executive director of the All-Ukrainian public organization “Association of Graduates of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine” and as a specialist in the department of international mass events and head of the international relations department of the National Center “Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine”. He was also the deputy director for strategic project management and international relations of the National Center “Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine” and worked as the general manager of the Museum of Science of the National Academy of Sciences. Yevhen Kudryavets held the position of Director of the International Educational Platform EuroJAS and was the Director of Education and Innovation of the Ukraine House DC Foundation. The MES notes that Evgenia started the “School of Superheroes” social project, which provides access to education to children undergoing inpatient treatment. At the end of 2021, “Superhero School” became a state institution. Yevgenia Smirnova also created a network of educational centers in health care institutions – 8 innovative spaces in hospitals, in which “every element of design and equipment is thought out and makes sense.” Earlier, the Ministry of Education and Culture reported that only Lisovyi and Babak had voluntarily given up their academic degrees in Ukraine.
