Posing as a mannequin: a man who robbed a store was arrested in Warsaw
In Warsaw, a 22-year-old man posed as a mannequin to rob a jewelry store in a shopping center.
This is reported by the Warsaw Police District Office.
In order not to be noticed, the thief stood motionless in the shop window opposite with a package in his hand. So he waited for the shopping center to close.
“Feeling safe,” the man robbed the jewelry island.

“The other day, also after the mall closed, he went to one of the bars and ate to his heart’s content.
After a while, he took the opportunity to slip under the steel curtain into a designer clothing store to exchange his clothes for new ones. On the way, he “dropped in” again to a familiar bar to have another bite.” – the police say.
After that, the intruder was noticed by the security of the shopping center.
It became known that earlier he was already brought to criminal responsibility for thefts in another shopping center.
He worked there also after the closure. Then the criminal took cash from several cash registers and tried to steal some things.
The police charged the man with theft and burglary.
So far he has been arrested for 3 months. The man faces 10 years in prison for the crime.
