In Kropyvnytskyi, 11 streets and alleys were renamed.

The relevant decision was made by local deputies at a meeting on September 26, reports the Kropyvnytskyi City Council.

Deputies made a decision to rename 11 streets and alleys and during the voting postponed the renaming of Polzunova Street in the village of Nove in the Kirovohrad region.

According to deputy Valentina Yaremchuk, the renaming was postponed because the residents of the street do not want the previously proposed name “Prosvity” to be assigned to it.
