Psychologist Artem Osypyan considers the admiration of some teenagers for this blogger quite understandable. “Everything is very simple. Adolescence is a period of maximalism and the search for alternative authority figures to parents. According to Osypyan, Spartak Subbota purposefully did everything so that he would be loved. The specialist believes that teenagers often do not want to part with their fantasies, because they are at the crossroads of two stages of life – childhood and adulthood. It is difficult for them to adapt to real life, with its disappointments and the truth, which is not always romantic. “The story with Spartak is just an intense trigger that shows that in life you should not make constant bets, especially emotionally. Instead, you need to constantly analyze and be critical,” says Artem Osypyan. Adolescent psychologist Lilia Mylynevska also calls for children to be educated in critical thinking. She advises teenagers who are “hooked” on Spartak to read the results of the investigation. Also, parents should discuss complex and ambiguous topics with their children. The main thing is to explain that formulating your own opinion should be based on facts, each of which has several interpretations. The psychologist also says that children should not be criticized. After all, adults whose brains have the capacity for critical thinking have also become “deceived”. “Look for arguments and counter-arguments together. This can happen if there is contact with a teenager. You will be surprised, but many teenagers understand all the pros and cons of both games and school. But there are tasks of age, features of brain development, in particular, the formation of the ability to predict, activity limbic system and the area of ​​the brain that is responsible for pleasure. Therefore, an adult is needed who sets limits and rules regarding games and attending school and monitors the implementation of these rules,” says Liliya Mylynevska. Psychologist Kateryna Holzberg believes that teenagers who cry for Spartacus should be comforted, “as people who have lost an idol, the loss of their first love, who have experienced disappointment are comforted.” “These are not bad tears.
