Raped a minor boy and filmed it: in Kyiv, a man was sentenced to 14 years in prison

In Kyiv, a resident of Poltava Region was sentenced to 14 years in prison for sexual violence against a minor boy, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported. The court found the man guilty of depraving and raping a child, keeping child pornography and forcing him to create it (part 4 of article 152; part 2 of article 156; part 4, 5 of article 301; part 1, 3, 4 of article 301-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). As the spokeswoman of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office, Nadia Maksymets, reported in a comment for “UP. Life”, the boy was 6 years old at the time of the first incidents of violence. In total, this continued for two years. The convict’s mother and the child’s grandfather were married. The man often visited their home and stayed to look after the boy. According to the spokeswoman, the mother of the injured boy turned to the police as soon as she learned about the crime from him. “During the pre-trial investigation and judicial investigation, psychologists worked with the child. The interrogation was conducted in another room with the help of a video conference. In such cases, the psychologist asks the child questions so as not to traumatize her again,” said Nadiya Maksimets. The man was sentenced to 14 years in prison. Also, for three years, he will not be able to engage in any activity related to the education and upbringing of children, and hold positions related to work with people under the age of 18. “Information about him will be entered into the Register of persons convicted of crimes against the sexual freedom and sexual integrity of minors,” the Prosecutor General’s Office reported. We will remind you that earlier we wrote that a man was detained in Kyiv, who had been molesting his daughter for six years.
