Relatives of missing persons will be able to submit DNA samples for their identification in six EU countries and Turkey
You need to register by January 15, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Leonid Tymchenko said on the air of “Edynykh Noviny”.
To do this, you need to fill out an application, send it to the email address [email protected] and decide on the place of DNA collection.
In the application, it is necessary to specify:
- your contact details (name, phone number);
- the address of the unit to which you plan to apply and the approximate date.

“In the process of identifying bodies, experts are also helped by our international partners. This is the International Commission on Missing Persons.
We cooperated with them throughout 2023, and during this period we took samples from more than 400 citizens of Ukraine abroad. With the help of such cooperation, about ninety matches were established.” – said Tymchenko.
Currently, there are about 17,000 people in the Unified Register of Missing Persons.
Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs also published addresses where DNA samples can be submitted.
In Poland:
- Warsaw – Aleje Jerozolimskie, 179;
- Krakow – Pavia, 5;
- Gdansk – Aleja Grunwaldzka, 415;
- Wroclaw – plac Grunwaldzki, 22.
In Germany:
- Berlin – Am Treptower Park, 14;
- Cologne – Händelstraße, 25-29.
In Spain:
- Madrid – C. Adolfo Bioy Casares, 5;
- Valencia – Xàtiva metro station, parking opposite the main entrance of the Estació del Nord station.
In Italy:
- Milan – Via Eugenio Curiel, 25.
In the Czech Republic:
- Prague – Michelská, 1552/58.
In Slovakia:
- Bratislava – Mlynské nivy, 5A.
In Turkey:
- Istanbul – Londra Asfaltı E-5, parking lot behind “Airport” shopping center.
