Doberman Hanna has been working as a rescue worker for over 4 years.
With the beginning of a full-scale invasion, the dog most often works on man-made rubble or on de-occupied territories polluted by the aggressor’s army, the State Emergency Service noted.
Hanna started her career in the Pavlograd search and rescue unit “Antares” as a puppy.
She was trained in searching for living people in the natural environment and man-made debris, as well as the dead and their remains.

She works diligently in search missions with the State Emergency Service, the military and the police.
“On her personal account, there are more than 50 engagements and dozens of souls returned from oblivion. After February 24, 2022, her life, like the lives of many, changed a lot. If earlier there were only searches in the natural environment, now the dog most often works on man-made rubble or on de-occupied territories polluted by the aggressor’s army“, the State Emergency Service said.

The rescuers note that despite the difficulty of the work, Hanna is a very kind and intelligent dog. For a treat, he willingly shows tricks (“Bunny” and “Shame” and many other commands) that will not leave anyone indifferent.
“In public, she always seems to be the most polite and calm, this is only a deception for strangers. Her first “conditional victims” in training remember this moose in childhood, when, upon smelling it, she began to brake only a meter away from him… Since then, some they call her “Horse”– remember Hanna’s colleagues.
