Several Ukrainian children who were taken from Ukraine to the Russian Federation and to the occupied territories were returned home.
Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets and head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak reported this.
As the ombudsman reported, three children were returned to Ukraine, and according to the Office of the President – four: a 17-year-old girl and three boys – six, three and nine years old.
“They are already at home, together with their relatives. Each of them has their own story. They should be heard in different countries of the world in order to have a real idea about the crimes of Russia.” – writes Andriy Yermak.

He also told the stories of the families to which the boys were returned.
The family lived in the territory of the Kherson region. The child’s mother was a soldier who went to defend Ukraine. Her minor son stayed at home with his grandparents.
When Russia occupied part of the Kherson region, the mother could not evacuate her son and was captured. Later, the woman managed to be freed, she started looking for her son and finally managed to return the child to his relatives.
The second boy had congenital health problems. He was in an institution in the Kherson region, where he was being prepared for an operation in Okhmatdyt. Because of the war, his parents were evacuated, and the boy fell into the occupation. Together with other children, he was forcibly taken to the Crimea. And now, after a long separation, the family is together.
Another boy ended up in an orphanage in Bryansk region. His grandmother was looking for him, and now they are together.
We will remind you that earlier the Office of the Ombudsman and the Office of the President returned to Ukraine a boy deported by Russia.
