On November 5, a 55-year-old resident of the village of Horishni Sherivtsi contacted the police and reported that her mother went to the forest for mushrooms the day before and did not return home.

The police began searching for the woman, which lasted more than two days.

The missing pensioner was found on November 7 and taken to the hospital, informed the communication department of the police of the Chernivtsi region and told how the search operation lasted.

Law enforcement officers passed more than 20 kilometers from the house, and after two days in the forest, in thickets of bushes, community police officer Mykhailo Nyzhnyk saw a pensioner.– said the message of the law enforcement officers.

The woman got lost in the forest, got tangled in blackberries and could not get out on her own.

The police officer of the community immediately provided the woman with first aid, called the doctors, the local resident – the owner of the SUV, and carried the gun to the car in his hands.

The medics who came to the call determined that the woman had hypothermia and admitted her to the hospital.

Currently, nothing threatens her health and life.
