On March 24, the average daily air temperature in Kyiv was +14.4°C and repeated the record value for this day, which was recorded in 1913. The climatic norm for this period is exceeded by 11°С and corresponds to the weather at the end of April. The record temperature was also after noon on March 24 – the maximum air temperature reached +20°C, which exceeded the previous record of 1913 by 0.7°C. For the first time in 102 years of observations, the average daily air temperature in Kyiv on March 25 was +14.3°С. The night of March 26 turned out to be record warm, when the air temperature was +8.3°С. This exceeded the record value of 1990 by 0.2°C. The observatory adds that six temperature records were already set in Kyiv during March, while there were none in February.
