The All-Ukrainian festival-award “Game” has announced a long list of nominees

To the International Theater Day, March 27, the festival-prize “Game” made public long list of nominees.

Award experts processed 85 applications from state theaters, public organizations and private institutions. Teams from 18 cities of the country applied for the award, and performances were presented by 45 directors and 35 female directors.

A total of 35 candidates were selected for the longlist this year. The director claims the largest number of nominations Maxim Golenko, who created the plays “Enemies. History of Love”, “Earth”, “Carpathian Western” and “Green Corridors”. The Zankovetska Theater headed by Golenka became the leader among theaters and collected 3 nominations.

In 2023, the play won the “Game”. “Granary” of his authorship and became the best dramatic performance of the year.

Festival-award GRA (GRA — Great Real Art) founded by the National Union of Theater Actors of Ukraine. It is held on a competitive basis once a year based on the results of the previous calendar year. Any professional theater group of any form of ownership (state, communal, private) can take part in it.
