The Cabinet of Ministers has narrowed the number of people who can stay in shelters in kindergartens

The Cabinet of Ministers has limited the number of people who can stay in shelters in kindergartens.

Corresponding changes have been made to the Regulations on preschool education institutions, the Cabinet of Ministers decree states.

A paragraph on access to shelters in kindergartens was added to item 18.

Access to shelters in state (communal) preschool education institutions during educationactivity is provided exclusively for participants of the educational process”. – noted in the resolution.

In Article 27 of the Law of Ukraine About preschool education it is said that the participants of the educational process in the field of preschool education are:

  • children of preschool age, pupils, pupils;
  • pedagogical workers: directors, deputy directors of educational and educational (educational) work, method educators, educators, senior educators, assistant educators, teachers (of all specialties), special education teachers, speech therapists, practical psychologists, social pedagogues, instructors of labor, physical education instructors, auditory room instructors, music directors, heads of groups, studios, sections, other forms of group work and other specialists;
  • teacher assistants and babysitters;
  • medical workers;
  • parents of children or people who replace them;
  • parents-educators of family-type children’s homes;
  • assistants for children with special educational needs;
  • natural persons who have the right to carry out educational activities in the field of preschool education.
