A woman who did not seek medical help for her sick two-month-old son will be tried in the Kyiv region, which led to the child’s death. A 32-year-old resident of Bilotserkiv district is accused of malicious failure to fulfill parental duties, the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reports. Investigators established that the woman improperly cared for her two-month-old son, who had a disease from birth and needed special care. As explained to “UP. Life” in the regional prosecutor’s office of the Kyiv region, when the mother was discharged from the maternity ward, it was recommended to carefully monitor the child’s health. However, the woman ignored the doctors’ recommendations. When the child started showing signs of a cold, the mother did not seek medical attention.
