The government supported the initiative of the Ministry of Reintegration to create a Coordination Headquarters for ensuring the realization of the rights and freedoms of internally displaced persons. It was headed by Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk, the Cabinet of Ministers reported. This consultative and advisory body will be subordinate to the Cabinet of Ministers. As Iryna Vereshchuk explained, the Coordination Headquarters will take care of issues of socialization and integration of IDPs, that is, the return of these citizens to a normal life. In addition, regional military administrations throughout Ukraine plan to create advisory and coordination centers to provide support to the population, the Ministry of Reintegration noted. The creation of a coordination headquarters to help IDPs was discussed in the government in March 2023. It will be recalled that at the beginning of April, employees of the Office of the Ombudsman recorded violations of the living conditions of internally displaced persons in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
