The guitar that Kurt Cobain played during Nirvana’s last tour was sold at auction
At Julien’s Auctions, Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain’s guitar, which he used during the In Utero tour, was sold. Almost 1.6 million dollars were recovered for her.
The auction house reports that on his last tour, Cobain played a sky-blue Fender Mustang for shulga.
“Nirvana played their last concert on March 1, 1994 in Munich, Germany, and all available concert recordings confirm that Cobain played this guitar that night.” – noted in Julien’s Auctions.
Cobain had a habit of smashing guitars on stage, but this Fender Mustang, unlike the others, remained intact.
