More than 109 thousand entrants chose the history of Ukraine as the third subject on the National Multi-Subject Test. Deputy Minister of Education and Science Andrii Vitrenko said this at a briefing on April 26, Ukrinform reports. There will be 68,000 foreign language graduates, over 27,000 in biology, 4,000 in physics, and approximately 2.7,000 in chemistry. This year, entrants will take two compulsory subjects – Ukrainian language and mathematics, and one – optional. During this time, 211,000 personal accounts have been created, approximately 188,000 applicants have already received notification of successful registration and the opportunity to form the NMT-2023 certificate. As a reminder, registration at NMT will last until May 3, 2023, you can change your data until May 7. This year, the history of Ukraine was removed from the list of compulsory subjects at the NMT, which caused dissatisfaction among certain groups of society. The Ukrainian Center for the Evaluation of the Quality of Education explained that the Ukrainian language and mathematics best determine the potential success of an applicant and that optional disciplines were specially added to the test so that applicants could show preparation for various specialties.
