The Ministry of Education and Science allowed 28,348 students of higher education institutions to transfer to study under the state order. Of them, 24,637 will study on the budget in the full-time form of education and 3,711 – in correspondence, reports the Ministry of Education and Culture. Children of fallen defenders/combatants, combatants themselves, people with disabilities as a result of the war, their children, as well as residents of particularly dangerous areas who entered higher education until 2021 received budget places. “Currently, the need for the transfer of state orders for all degrees and forms of education for all persons who submitted documents confirming the status of a person of a privileged category by March 1, 2023 is fully satisfied,” the department says. The transfer is carried out in accordance with the Procedure approved by the Cabinet of Ministers in Resolution No. 1224 of October 28, 2022. We remind you that students from temporarily occupied territories and war zones have the right to transfer from the contractual form of education to the budgetary one.
