“Psychotherapist” Spartak Subbota said that he will continue to run the YouTube project “Podcast Therapy” despite the accusation of fraud. “There will be new episodes of PT. Earlier, his co-host Yevhen Yanovych announced the closure of the “podcast” after the high-profile investigation of Ilya Poludyonny about Spartak. In a series of videos, Poludyonnyi claimed that Subbota lied about his work at the SBU, his academic degree and medical education, and also behaved unethically with clients. The first issue will be dedicated to the anniversary of the United24 fundraising platform. “I think that this is what was missing on Ukrainian YouTube in this format, that’s why I decided to implement it, considering that I’m more of an entertainment person,” Yevhen said. On April 11, psychologist Ilya Poludyonny published 6 videos and a longread in which he provided evidence and testimony about the alleged lies of Spartak Subbota. In particular, it was about medical education and the degree of candidate of psychological sciences, availability of articles in the Scopus database, work in the SBU and other facts. In the investigation, it was noted that Spartak was called Oleksandr, although the psychologist said in his videos that this unusual name was given to him at birth. Poludyonnyi also accused Spartak of being intimate with female clients and cooperating with a pseudo-sociological company connected to OPZZH.
