In the 2023-2024 school year, 340,000 children will enter the first grades of Ukrainian schools. Deputy Minister of Education and Science Andrii Vitrenko announced this on the telethon on August 31. He added that last year 325,000 young Ukrainians went to first grade. This year, educational institutions will allow both face-to-face and distance learning. It will depend on the security situation. It will be recalled that the Ministry of Education and Culture determined that this year the educational process will take place in three formats: face-to-face, remote and mixed. About 500,000 students across the country will return to their desks.
