The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reacted to the statement of the NVO streaming platform about the involvement of Serbian-Russian actor Milosh Bykovych in the filming of the 3rd season of the TV series “White Lotus”.

The actor repeatedly supported Russian narratives in various interviews. For example, about a full-scale invasion, he said that allegedly “Russia is moving its way, and the world perceives it as a hostile process.” In one of the last interviews, Milosh Bykovich answered the interviewer’s question whether Serbs really love Russia more than Russians:
“That’s right. We were one people. We spoke almost the same language 200-300 years ago. You don’t feel nostalgia until you lose something. And there is a certain deep nostalgia in the blood of the Serbian people [за Росією – прим.]. In 1925, every fifth resident of Belgrade was Russian,” the actor said.
Earlier, Putin personally awarded Miloš Bykovych with the Pushkin Medal, a state award of the Russian Federation. it is awarded for merits in the fields of culture and art, education, humanitarian sciences and literature, for a great contribution to the study and preservation of cultural heritage.
