Public Health Center under the Ministry of Health appointed Daria Hordiyko, former editor-in-chief of the pro-Russian channel ZIK, to the position of head of the communications department.

Other members of the team were indignant and wrote a letter of resignation, and CGZ was criticized for being “apolitical”.

Daria Gordiyko announced that she would resign, but the former communicators demanded a response from the Center itself and the Ministry of Health.

The ministry commented on the incident.

“The Public Health Center is one of the state institutions subordinate to the Ministry of Health, which conducts its own personnel policy. Approval, appointment or dismissal of heads of individual units of the Center is the exclusive competence of the head of the Center.” – the press service of the Ministry of Health responded to the request of “UP. Life”.

The Ministry of Health stated that “the situation that has developed in the Central Hospital is unacceptable”, therefore the department instructed the head of the Center to check the circumstances that led to the appointment of Gordiyko, as well as “to make the necessary changes to the relevant policies of the Center”.

“According to the information provided by the Center, as of today, the employment relationship with Darya Gordiyko, who held the position of head of the communications department, has been terminated,” – assured the Ministry of Health.

It will be recalled that earlier the former communicator of the CGZ, Antonina Dolomanzhi, complained about the scandalous personnel changes and the management’s ignoring of her complaints.

Why the team considers the appointment of Gordiyko unacceptable and what was the answer to this in the CGZ – Antonin told in the comment “UP. Life”.
