The Ministry of Health told how many SARS patients were hospitalized in Ukraine this week

From October 30 to November 5, more than 137,000 SARS and COVID-19 patients were registered in Ukraine. Most patients are in Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil and Chernivtsi regions.
According to the Ministry of Health, almost half of the patients (73 thousand cases) are children under the age of 17.
From October 30 to November 5, more than 4,000 Ukrainians, including about 2,000 children, were hospitalized.
Also, almost 10,000 patients with COVID-19 have been identified, and 51 deaths have been registered.

The Ministry of Health reminds that this week a case of Omicron “Pirola” subspecies of the COVID strain was laboratory confirmed on the territory of Ukraine. It was discovered in the Rivne region. They were able to recognize “Pyrrole” thanks to sequencing – a laboratory study that allows you to genetically decipher the virus and find out what mutations have occurred in the virus’s genome.
In total, from the beginning of October to November 5, almost 700,000 people fell ill with SARS in Ukraine, the ministry notes.
How to get vaccinated against flu and coronavirus?
Vaccinations against COVID-19 are free for every Ukrainian. It can be done at vaccination points or in an outpatient clinic through an appointment with a family doctor.
Doctors use Janssen (manufacturer Johnson&Johnson) and Comirnaty (manufacturer Pfizer) vaccines. Also available is a vaccine against COVID-19 for children from 5 years of age (manufactured by Pfizer – Comirnaty vaccine for children).
The flu vaccine can be bought at a pharmacy, two options are available: Korean and French. Both vaccines have passed state quality control.
