The National Research Fund of Ukraine (NFDU) has unlocked the possibility of receiving grant support for various areas. This was announced by the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Oksen Lisovyi. From now on, NFDU can hold competitions, in particular for: development of the material and technical base of higher education institutions and scientific institutions; scientific mobility; support of young scientists; popularization of science. “In addition, from now on, the Foundation can hold bilateral and multilateral competitions with the participation of foreign foundations, institutions, organizations, etc. This decision will become a catalyst for international cooperation between NFDU and foreign partners,” said the minister. Photo: NataliMi/Depositphotos According to Oksen Lisovoy, the Foundation will soon announce the first competitive selection of scientific projects jointly with the Swiss. “Also, the Fund is already actively working with leading organizations in the USA, Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania to support the Ukrainian scientific ecosystem by developing joint multilateral initiatives and attracting funding from abroad,” the head of the Ministry of Education and Culture said. The National Research Fund of Ukraine is a state budget institution established by the Government of Ukraine in 2018. According to the legislation, the Fund is a special instrument for the implementation of state policy, with the help of which measures aimed at the development of Ukrainian science are financed.
