The Odessa Zoo has chosen the most romantic couple of the year among animals.
The winners in the nomination were a pair of sheep, the zoo informed.
The “Couple of the Year” competition is held every year at the beginning of February, and the results are announced on the eve of the holiday of all lovers – Valentine’s Day.
Voting for the “most romantic” animals was conducted among Facebook users. The finals included pairs of flamingos, lions and sheep.

As a result, the most votes were cast for the latter – 401.
Their award ceremony will take place on February 14 at 12:00.

In 2023, a pair of white lions won the “Couple of the Year” contest by a wide margin. The second place was won by a pair of raccoons, and the third place was won by a pair of raccoons.
