The petition to amend the regulations on internship received 25,000 votes

A petition on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers with a call to postpone the introduction of changes to the regulations on internship received the required number of votes in 2 days.
In the text of the petition, in particular, it is said that on March 11 on the website of the Ministry of Health published draft order “On making changes to some normative legal acts of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine“which violates a number of students’ rights in the field of medical education.
The authors ask the government to adjust the changes they plan to make to the Internship Regulation. Because according to them, the changes involve violations of students’ rights, in particular:
▲ ban on transition to contract internship after training on the budget;
▲ and create unequal distribution conditions for budgetary and contractual forms of education.
From yes, the petition asks to postpone the introduction of changes to the regulations on internship and to first implement them for applicants to medical specialties in 2024.
“We propose to improve the conditions of internship in the specialties required by the state, for example: to ensure official employment in the specialty obtained immediately after the end of the educational process to encourage medical students to choose it during the internship.” – says the text of the document.
The petition was published on March 27 and as of 12:00 on March 30, it had 25,285 votes.
