Ukrainians who live in the territories temporarily occupied by Russia and received their education there will be able to confirm their level of knowledge by passing the certification.

On December 21, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi signed the corresponding bill No. 9591.

Ukrainians living in the territory temporarily occupied by Russia will be able to start or continue their studies in other regions of Ukraine.

In order to recognize the educational results, you will need to pass an attestation.

“The law provides grounds for the creation of an effective mechanism for evaluating the results of education for persons who received education in the occupied territories. This provides an opportunity for TOT residents to continue their studies in Ukrainian educational institutions or obtain a certain educational degree.” – said Tasheva.

At the same time, the results of studies at the level of higher education can be recognized in the amount of no more than 75% of the total volume of the educational program.

Also, the results of studies will not be recognized according to the list of specialties and professions approved by the government.

According to the text of the law, training will take place at the expense of the state or local budget with the provision of a place in a dormitory.

We previously reported that the Verkhovna Rada approved a mechanism for evaluating knowledge gained in the temporarily occupied territories.
