The state is offered to pay tuition for students who agree to mobilize: the people’s deputy has created a draft law
The Verkhovna Rada registered a draft law proposing that the state pay tuition for students who agree to voluntarily mobilize to the army. The initiative belongs to People’s Deputy from “Servant of the People” Giorgiy Mazurash, who last year was recognized as the record holder for the number of submitted bills. Draft Law No. 9672-1 appeared on the website of the Parliament on September 5. Mazurashu proposes to amend Article 23 of the Law of Ukraine “On Mobilization Training and Mobilization”, which states: “Conscripts for military service during mobilization, for a special period, are also not subject to the following: holders of professional (vocational and technical), professional pre-higher and higher education , trainee assistants, graduate students and doctoral students studying full-time or dual forms of education”. Currently, the offer is only submitted for review. We will remind you that earlier in the Council, a draft law was registered, which cancels the postponement of mobilization for students aged 30+, who obtain a non-consecutive higher education or a second or more.
