The National Guardsman recalls that together with his comrades he defended Pyatikhatki, Ruska and Cherkasska Lozova. Later, they were transferred to another place – Dementiivka, where it was the most difficult due to the constant work of enemy tanks, artillery and aviation.

It was there that he first took part in short-range combat.

“The closest combat contact was at a distance of 10-15 meters. I know for sure that I hit, I saw with my own eyes how the enemy received my automatic turn.” – he says.

The soldier also took part in the Kharkiv counteroffensive. His company liberated the village of Uda. The enemy fled and there were no casualties.
