Before the full-scale invasion, in December 2022, they, together with Olga, ventured to purchase a new home.

The 81.5m2 apartment cost us a lot. I had part of the money after the sale of my mother’s house as an inheritance, my husband sold his car, and some was borrowed from friends. That is, for us it was a big dream, to which we went for a long timeshe says.

In March 2023, they decided to make repairs. For this, Olga drew the project herself and controlled the process.

July 28 was an ordinary day for her. In the apartment, the electrical wiring was finished, so Olga had to pay for this work in the evening and check its completion.

In the evening, I took the dog for a walk and we went in the direction of “Geneva”. The first explosion rang out. We were just near the place of arrival in 2022 – at the “Troitskyi” market. We fell to the ground, a second explosion rang out, and we ran for cover“, says Olga.

While she was in the shelter, a message about entering the house came into the chat of residents. After the alarm ended, Olga and her lover went towards the complex, where she saw the extent of the destruction.

“No one was allowed inside, so until the very morning I had hope that only the windows were damaged. In the morning, we could already see what was left. The 12th floor became a single space. There were no walls in the apartments.” says the woman.

According to her, there were people in the section at the time of the explosion. They were on the lower floors and wrote in the chat that they were able to leave the section by stairs.

Fortunately, no one was seriously injured and there were no fatalities, – she emphasizes.

People lived in its section. It was put into operation last year, and the gas was connected this summer

Olga says that people lived in her section. It was commissioned last year, and the gas was connected this summer.

“We planned to be able to visit before the new year”– says the resident of the house in despair.

Currently, the condominium, residents and the developer have started cleaning the yard and sections. Contractors measure windows and doors that need repair. The developer also undertook a primary assessment of the damage and the preparation of a technical recovery plan.

How and by whose power we will be able to restore the house is not yet known, but we hope that it is real“, the woman sums up.
