During the occupation of Kherson, she first became the occupation “vice-rector”, and then “headed” the Kherson State Maritime Academy. The corresponding document with a notification of suspicion appeared on the website of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine on September 12. Tihosova is suspected of committing criminal offenses provided for in: Part 3 of Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, namely: in collaborative activities, i.e. in the actions of a citizen of Ukraine aimed at implementing the education standards of the aggressor state in educational institutions; Part I, Art. 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, namely: in assisting the aggressor state, i.e. in the commission of deliberate actions by a citizen of Ukraine aimed at helping the occupation administration of the aggressor state, with the aim of causing harm to Ukraine, by supporting, implementing the decisions and actions of the occupation administration of the aggressor state . If the court finds the teacher guilty, she faces 10 to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property. The coordinator of the Dysergate anti-plagiarism initiative, Svitlana Vovk, also claims that the educator, who is suspected of collaborating with the occupiers, has so far been awarded an honorary badge, certificate of the Cabinet of Ministers and other awards. “Who will cancel these decisions? This is a question for Oksen Lisovoy, Mykhailo Vynnytskyi, Denys Shmyhal,” Vovk wrote. It will be recalled that earlier the SBU reported that it had exposed more than 30 educators-collaborators who were congregating students in the occupation.
