By decision of the Synod of Bishops, the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church switches to the Gregorian calendar for fixed holidays from September 1. From now on, the church will celebrate Christmas on December 25. This was announced by His Beatitude Sviatoslav on the live broadcast of “Live TV”. The church announced changes in the part of movable holidays (the date of which changes every year relative to the accepted calendar).
