The Ukrainian language marathon for schoolchildren and students will be held with the help of AI

The IV Open Ukrainian Language Marathon, which will be held on a special platform from December 1 to 24, 2023, is organized with the help of artificial intelligence (AI).
As the organizers of the marathon told Ukrinform, the use of artificial intelligence is an important step towards the transformation of education, because in Ukraine they are constantly working on introducing modern technologies into the education system.
“The decision to hold this year’s All-Ukrainian marathon on the Ukrainian language with the use of this technology opens up opportunities to organize various competitions for those seeking education, using AI on a permanent basis.” – noted the executive director of the Association of Innovative and Digital Education, coordinator of the Network of Ukrainian Educational Hubs Maria Boguslav.
How will the Ukrainian language marathon take place and where can I register for it?

The marathon will be held online in a testing format. It will have to be passed on a special platform. Participants will be able to immediately see their points and the overall ranking table in their category after each stage at the end of the marathon.
At each of the stages, tasks from different linguistic sections will be presented:
- The first stage is word culture (lexicology, phraseology);
- II stage – grammar (syntax, morphology, word formation);
- III stage – spelling (spelling, punctuation, phonetics, spelling);
- Stage IV – work with the text.
You need to take the test at a specially designated time:
- The first stage – from 14:00 on December 1 to 20:00 on December 3;
- II stage – from 14:00 on December 8 to 20:00 on December 10;
- III stage – from 14:00 on December 15 to 20:00 on December 17;
- IV stage – from 14:00 on December 22 to 20:00 on December 24.
Registration for the marathon is available throughout the duration of the marathon, but tasks for marathon stages that have already been completed will not be available.
