The Verkhovna Rada currently does not plan to ban men from entering higher education institutions. This was announced by the head of the subcommittee on higher education of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, Science and Innovation Yuliya Hryshina on Radio Svoboda. According to her, there is no official information about the preparation of the draft law banning men from entering universities, and the information is spread at the level of “rumors.” We do not have any official information about such legislative initiatives. Such restrictions should be stipulated by special laws. As of now, the education committee does not have any in development, and I have not heard of such special laws in other committees that would establish bans,” said the deputy. Yuliya Hryshina.
