The Verkhovna Rada passed the law on NMT-2023 for graduates

In the second reading, the Ukrainian Parliament adopted the law on conducting the National Multimedia Test (NMT) for 11th grade graduates in 2023. Ukrainian language and mathematics remained mandatory subjects of the NMT, People’s Deputy, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, Science and Innovation Serhiy Babak said. “Parliament adopted draft 8228-1 in the second reading and as a whole as a law! No changes! Ukrainian language and mathematics are mandatory, the third subject is optional. Congratulations to everyone. The topic is closed. Full stop,” he wrote. We would like to remind you that this year, as last year, due to the security situation, we decided not to conduct an external independent evaluation (EXE). In its place, NMT will be held again. Graduates will take three subjects: Ukrainian language, mathematics and one subject of their choice.
