At the beginning of September, Ilya and his brothers worked in the Kherson direction. At one point, a tank with a soldier ran into mines. The man came to when everything around him was on fire. Despite burns and an open leg fracture, he got out of the fire trap by himself. The man dreams of returning to sports as soon as possible. Ilya crawled away from the tank and began to put out the shoes that were burning all this time. First aid to the man was provided by his brothers. Later, medics established that the fire burned 30% of the man’s body. During the two months the tanker spent in the burn unit, he underwent three skin grafts and repeated blood transfusions. As a result of the injury, the man lost his right leg, a prosthesis was installed in its place. Currently, the military man is learning to walk with a prosthesis. Currently, the military man dreams of joining the team of prosthetists of the “Unbreakable” National Rehabilitation Center to help people like him.
