There is a shortage of donors with a negative Rh factor in blood service centers – Ministry of Health

Blood service centers throughout Ukraine lack donors who have Rh-negative blood. This Rh factor is more rare, the Ministry of Health reports. According to the agency, thanks to Ukrainians who became donors, the daily supply of erythrocyte blood components in Ukraine increased. However, the blood service centers are still waiting for Rh-negative blood donors, because this blood is in short supply. The department emphasizes that stocks of blood components of all groups and rhesus are important.
