In Dnipro, on December 10, an improvised “memorial” commemorating the victims of a Russian missile attack on a high-rise building in the Peremoha residential area burned down on January 14, 2023.
As a result of the fire, a public transport stop, which became a “memorial” of memory, was damaged, reports the GUNP in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Currently, the police are identifying witnesses to the event, checking video surveillance cameras, and conducting all necessary measures to establish the cause of the fire.
On this fact, criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 2 of Art. 194 (deliberate destruction or damage to property) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The investigation is ongoing.
As Valery Kravchenko, who lives near the house destroyed by the rocket, told Suspilno, on January 14, he was at the scene of the tragedy 15 minutes after the explosion.

We will remind, on January 14, the Russian Federation hit a high-rise building in Dnipro. The strike was carried out by an Kh-22 missile designed to destroy aircraft carrier groups at sea.
As a result of a Russian missile hitting a residential building in Dnipro, 46 people died.
In particular, as a result of the terrorist attack, the honored Ukrainian boxing coach Mykhailo Korenovsky died.
The rescuers, who were clearing the rubble, tried to hear the voices of those who could survive under the rubble during the “minutes of silence”. Some did succeed. In particular, to Kateryna Zelenska, who spent 20 hours under the rubble. The woman lost her husband and one-year-old son.
After the tragedy, local residents carried flowers, lamps, and toys to the site of the high-rise building destroyed by a Russian rocket – as a sign of memory of the children killed by Russia.
At that time, the authorities in Dnipro announced a three-day mourning period for those who died as a result of a Russian missile strike.
