Alekseeva also added that they plan to carry out an exhumation and move the burial on the Hill of Glory.
Yesterday, October 8, a sculpture of a Soviet cosmonaut was sent to the “Museum of Terror”.
Previously, Soviet symbols, in particular, the Soviet star and hammer and sickle, were to be removed from the memorial. Also remove the inscription glorifying Soviet soldiers.
The Hill of Glory in Lviv is a memorial complex, part of the historical and architectural reserve “Lychakiv Cemetery”. Russian and Soviet soldiers who died during the First and Second World Wars are buried there.

Also on the hill is the burial place of the Soviet NKVD agent Mykola Kuznetsov. His relatives from Russia demanded that the Lviv City Council hand over his remains to them, but the City Council refused to do so. The story of the transfer of the remains of a Soviet agent has been going on since 2000.
