Two brothers, 13-year-old Kyril and 4-year-old Serhiy, who were in the temporarily occupied territories, were returned to Ukraine. Their mother appealed to the Ombudsman’s Office with a request to help take the children to the controlled territory of Ukraine, reports the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada, Dmytro Lubinets. In the published photos, the children are in Ukraine at the Center for the Protection of Children’s Rights. Kyrylo drew the Ukrainian flag on the blackboard, noting that he loves his country.
