Ukraine and Romania signed an agreement on mutual recognition of education documents. This means that Romanian educational institutions will recognize Ukrainian documents, and Ukrainian universities, accordingly, will recognize Romanian ones. The relevant order was adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers on February 14, the Ministry of Education and Science reports. This change will help applicants to institutions of higher education, students, postgraduates, etc. Photo: luckyraccoon/Depositphotos “The signing of the Agreement will promote mutual understanding regarding the recognition of documents on education obtained at different levels, issued in Ukraine and Romania, as well as documents on periods of study in Ukraine and Romania,” the MES says. It is important that the agreement applies only to educational documents issued by recognized accredited educational institutions of both states in accordance with their current legislation. We will remind, earlier Ukraine and Moldova agreed on cooperation in the field of higher education.
