In the Rivne region, five children were playing on a pond covered with ice, and one of the teenagers fell in as a result. The incident took place in the Sarnen region on February 9, the National Police reports. The video of entertainment on the reservoir was discovered by the police during monitoring of social networks on February 13. “Employees of juvenile prevention, together with the community police officer of the Sarna district police department, established the identities of all the children who were playing in a dangerous place,” the message says. Screenshot: National Police All five teenagers are residents of the village of Tynne aged 13 to 17. “According to the teenagers, they knew that the reservoir was not deep, so they decided to test it,” law enforcement officers say. The police officers drew up administrative protocols against the parents of all the children under Article 184 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (failure by parents to fulfill their responsibilities regarding raising children). Adults were also warned about stricter responsibility in case of repeated neglect of children. We will remind you that earlier in the Kyiv region, 4 children fell under the ice, 2 of whom died. Also, recently in the Volyn region, a company of three teenagers had fun on the ice. Unfortunately, one child drowned, and the other two were saved by emergency services.
