The organizers of the Odesa Film Festival talked about the representation of Ukraine in Cannes. The program appeared on the festival’s Facebook page. At the top Cannes festival, Ukraine will be represented at the Cannes Film Market, in the Producers Network program and in the Cannes Docs program. At the Cannes Film Market (Marché du Film), Ukraine will be represented by the “Ukraine in Focus” program, which will include a series of events aimed at supporting Ukrainian filmmakers. The pitching session of Ukrainian film projects was developed by the Ukrainian Institute in partnership with the European Fund for Solidarity with Ukrainian Cinema (ESFUF), CNC, the EFAD Association, the Swedish Goteborg Film Fund, the French Institute, LIM | Less is More, Movies that Matter, Tatino Films. And the Polish-Ukrainian short film by Anastasia Soloniewicz and Damian Kotsyur “How it was”, which tells about returning home for the first time after the start of the war in Ukraine, will take part in the program of the short film competition.
