Oksen Lisovyi said that for 2023, the state budget provides 754.9 million hryvnias for new books. With these funds, they plan to issue: ▶️ 65% of all necessary textbooks for 6th grade students; ▶️ textbooks on the history of Ukraine for the 5th grade; ▶️ Braille textbooks; ▶️ textbooks for schools teaching languages of national minorities in all subjects for grades 5-6. “We understand that the availability of textbooks is an issue that worries both teachers, schoolchildren, and parents. That’s why we are doing everything to ensure that in the new school year, students of grades 5-6 study according to the new textbooks of NUS,” added the head of the Ministry of Education and Culture.
