The humorist, currently the head of the “Servant of the People” faction in the Odesa City Council, also spoke about the death of Yevhen Hait Oleg Filimonov:
“Our friend, satirist writer, playwright, poet, blogger, producer, a person with whom we were friends and worked since 1986, Zhenya Khait, passed away. The heart stopped, though his heart never complained. And emptiness reigned. I’m writing and I don’t fully understand what happened“.
He honored the screenwriter’s memory and noted that Khait will be buried at the Tairov cemetery in Odesa.

Yevhen Hait was a member of the KVK team of Odesa State University (now Odesa National University named after I.I. Mechnikov), an actor and artistic director of “Gentleman Show”. He also became the screenwriter of the TV show “Naked and Funny”, which aired on the ICTV channel.
