The most popular in the Ukrainian-language “Wikipedia” are articles related to geography, history, culture and art, architecture, museum affairs, the military, and politics.
We will remind you that the Ukrainian “Wikipedia” recently identified 50 articles that became the most popular in 2023. The leader of the year was the article about Ukraine – it received almost 1.7 million views.
In second place is an article about Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, which was viewed by more than 1.3 million users. The article about the Ukrainian writer Taras Shevchenko closes the top three – it was searched almost a million times.
In the global ranking of articles that users searched for in “Wikipedia” in English, the page with information about the virtual chatbot from OpenAI ChatGPT took the first place – it collected more than 49.4 million views.
In second place were biographical posts about people who died in 2023, including actor Matthew Perry and singer Lisa Marie Presley. The third place in the list of leaders is the 2023 Cricket World Cup.
