Ukrposhta will issue new stamps in honor of Europe Day

In honor of Europe Day, which from now on in Ukraine is celebrated on May 9, Ukrposhta presented the issue of the stamp “EUROPA. Peace is the highest value of humanity.” This was reported at the state enterprise. “This stamp is our way of showing that we seek peace for our country and the entire free world. But we also want others to remember that the only way to real peace is the victory of Ukraine,” Ukrposhta said. The stamp sheet is made in the format of a coupler of two stamps. On the first is a drawing by Maria Suslova from Kharkiv, who took second place in the sketch competition. Ukrposhta presented the issue of the “EUROPA” stamp – “Peace is the highest value of humanity”. The second stamp depicts a new sign of peace, created based on the Celtic love knot by designers Linda Bos and Runa Egilsdóttir. With this work, the Post of Luxembourg won the sketch competition of PostEurop. The envelope was designed by the artist Nato Mikeladze. The circulation of the stamp set is 300,000 copies. The number of hooks in a sheet is 3 or 6 stamps. Owners of philatelic subscriptions will receive a link to pay for the issue on the eve of the introduction of postage stamps into circulation.
